Teachers make an impact on our lives. They help mold us into the people we grow to become [along with the help of our parent(s) of course]. Some teachers have also had a profound impact on not only their students but on the history of education.

Background

On Mondays, we like to feature a teacher who has had a great impact on education or on their students. This is our way of honoring teachers for all of their hard work. Teacher on average spend 50 hours a week dedicated to teaching students, preparing for lessons, and grading homework/tests. They help shape the future by teaching students the things they need to know for life. They deserve to be honored and given a shout out for the work they do everyday. The teachers we feature can be someone who has started a brand of school such as Maria Montessori or it could be a teacher that had an impact on a student’s life. All teachers no matter how big of an impact they seem to have on education or their students. That is why we like to post not just teachers who have greatly effected education. We also like to give a shout out to those who are regular teachers who work hard to ensure their students leave their courses at the end of the semester/quarter/year with more knowledge than they came in with.
