Technology is exciting and it is constantly evolving! There have been so many different technology advances within the past 10 years or so that have changed the face of education. Teachers are using technology to help students learn more and develop new skills within the classroom.

Minecraft

Minecraft has tremendously impacted the classroom. The company has now created a Minecraft platform for education so that teachers can further students learning even more. This tool can help students learn about decision making and spatial concepts in ways they couldn't without the technology.

Google Classroom

Google has largely invested into creating this platform and they are constantly adding new features to it. The platform is a great tool to help connect students, teachers, and parents with using just one tool.

This is allows for students to create objects and 3-D print them to see what they created. Or for teachers to easily + somewhat cheaply to show students a real life size of a human heart with all of the vessels and features.

Teachers are also using social media as a tool in the classroom as well as game-based learning to supplement lesson plans.

These are only a few of the technologies that have become apparent recently. Since these technologies can have a huge impact on education, we decided to search around for some advances with technology to share with teachers and educators!
